NASA will hold two public news conferences on August 3 for the SpaceX Crew-13 rotation mission to the International Space Station. A mission overview is scheduled for noon Eastern, followed by the crew briefing at 2 p.m. from Johnson Space Center in Houston.

The flight will carry NASA astronauts Jessica Watkins and Luke Delaney, Canadian Space Agency astronaut Joshua Kutryk and Roscosmos cosmonaut Sergey Teteryatnikov aboard a SpaceX Dragon spacecraft. Watkins will command the mission; the other three crew members are preparing for their first spaceflight.

NASA lists launch from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida for no earlier than mid-September. That language is a planning target rather than a guaranteed launch date, and the schedule remains subject to spacecraft, rocket, range and mission-readiness reviews.

The briefings are the crew's final planned media availability before travel to Kennedy Space Center. NASA says it will stream both events through its public live channel. Crew-13 is the thirteenth operational SpaceX crew-rotation mission under NASA's Commercial Crew Program and the fourteenth crewed Dragon flight in the program when the Demo-2 test flight is included.
